The French Broad River is among the few rivers in the United States that actually flow North. Beginning near Rosman, NC, the French Broad flows through the heart of Asheville, NC and on to join the South Holton in Knoxville, Tennessee. Although the river is best know for its Smallmouth Bass fishing, it is also home to Pan Fish, Muskie and Trout.

We float a large number of sections on the French Broad River, from Haywood, Buncombe and Madison Counties.  One customer favorite runs from the Blue Ridge Parkway into Asheville, past the historic Biltmore Estate. Customers who book this trip are as interested in touring as much as they are fishing and it has become a great place to bring along that significant other.

Customers are encouraged to bring their favorite rod and tackle; however, all fishing equipment is available for use at no extra expense. A healthy lunch, drinks (no alcohol) and snacks will be provided. We can handle up to two customers by drift bboat, three by kayak, (additional person $25.00) and the customer is only responsible for his/her own state fishing license. (Please remember to tip your guides if your trip meets or exceeds your expectations 15% to 20% is customary.)

A North Carolina State fishing license can be obtained on line at: http://www.ncwildlife.org/
